I commissioned my shop mural with one of my favourite Hackney murals in mind. Located in Dalston Junction, it is a celebration of carnival. This colourful artwork would always captivate me as a child, I thought it was the most beautiful piece of art I’d ever seen and it is still one of my favourites to this day. At Cooshi (Cool Sh!t) you will see a celebration of where I am from, with my mural featuring a drum and a bass player, a nod to Drum&Bass, Jungle and my passion for music, and a Hackney street sign repping where I am from. Behind the musicians you will see a street scene local to where I grew up with symbols throughout the mural like little easter eggs each with its own story. Lovingly created by Art of July.
